Clearstream has completed its first triparty repo transaction in Taiwan.
Shanghai Commercial and Savings Bank (SCSB) partnered with ANZ Banking Group in this transaction, with Clearstream acting as a triparty agent.
The repo and reverse repo market plays an important role in Taiwan鈥檚 liquidity management, according to Clearstream, with triparty repos gaining popularity globally over more traditional money market instruments and bilateral repos.
